The vineyard parcel for Heggies Botrytis Riesling almost chooses itself. It's situated on a gentle NW slope with trees providing shelter on three sides and a dam forming the border at the bottom of the vineyard. These factors lead to humid conditions and morning fogs that are perfect for the development of Botrytis. This sweet wine is highly perfumed with aromas of spring blossom, candied lemon peel and dried apricots. High Eden is the sort of place a man would sit on his horse at sunset and marvel at the ways of nature... so it's a cool spot for super-cool Riesling!
