Green Point was chosen by Moët & Chandon as the ideal location for their first Australian vineyard and winery – Domaine Chandon Australia. The wines reflect their French heritage, whilst evoking the freedom and spirit of Australian winemaking. The Green Point Yarra Valley Chardonnay is ready but will improve with cellaring for 5 years. The wine is crisp with a lingering finish and the stone fruit and citrus flavours are enhanced by a subtle cool climate mineral note. Wild yeast ferment, barrel fermentation and maturation introduce additional layers of complexity. Highly recommended.
