Empty Me Large Picnic Bag / Shopping Bag in Trend Blue Square colourway by Asli. The Empty Me shopper style picnic bag can carry up to 4 litres of goodies and measures 1m x 1.4m when open and laid out as a rug. It unfolds using one very simple unique zipping system into a rug for every outdoor occasion - not just picnics - the Empty Me bag also comes in handy for the beach, the park or indeed anywhere you want to go. It can be used all year round not only for picnics (i.e week-end bag, every day use to carry shopping or going to the gym). Cleverly included in the 'Empty Me' bag design is a plastic black tray which doubles as a solid base for the bag. So whether it's strawberries and champagne or Cosmopolitans and sushi, 'Empty Me' will help you serve up with bags of style. The outer side of the Empty Me Bag is made from waterproof nylon fabric, but the inside, and the side you sit on (obviously!) is made from a contemporary blue square pattern, soft, hardwearing, linen and cotton mix fabric (the deluxe bag is a wool-mix fabric). As well as being so incredibly well designed, in that it is both a bag and a picnic rug, it has the added benefit of being machine washable. Comes flat-packed with an instruction sheet (though it really isnt very difficult). HOW TO USE THE EMPTY ME PICNIC BAG. Step 1 - fill the bag with food, drinks and essentials. Step 2 - empty contents, unzip, unfold and lay it out to make a picnic rug. Step 3 - layout rug placing the waterproof outside on the ground and sitting on the fabric side. Step 4 - pull out mini tray to serve drinks or food. Step 5 - eat, drink, be merry, then lie back and relax! The Empty Me Bag is in the envious position of having been offered investment on the Dragon's Den, but this was turned down by Asli, the designer, so that independence could maintained. Not only do the bags have masses of both style and usability they are also becoming a true design classic! Quality is always the best option.
