Oranges flower and fruit readily and are not difficult to grow, preferring a minimum winter temperature of 40ºf/5ºc at night and a little higher by day. They require plenty of light, and are great in a Conservatory. Deliciously fragrant white flowers open from red-tinted buds throughout the summer and are followed by good quality fruit. A compact, large shrub which is best grown in a pot where is can be placed in a frost-free place in winter. We offer a lovely good sized citrus tree in a very attractive gift pack, complete with an extra bag of special potting soil for ultimate success. Some of these even have flowers and the odd young fruit on them! Making an ideal gift for anyone, or yourself! Perhaps it would be good in the conservatory? They can certainly be a talking point. They are easy to grow and can take quite low temperatures - we've had them survive outside in mild winters in a sheltered position experiencing light frosts, but they are really for indoors, in the colder months anyway!
