Pettex Lightweight cat litter is made from a highly absorbant white mineral clay called Sepiolite. The product originates from silt beds of extinct lakes and is common around the world. We import our Sepiolite from Turkey due to its superiority in whiteness. Sepiolite has been mined since the 1940s, finding its greatest use as an absorbent, particularly for pet waste, and oils and greases. It is also used as a drilling mud and as a carrier for fertilizers and pesticides. Meerschaum, a compact form of sepiolite, has been used for centuries for the production of smokers' pipes. We are delighted to deliver this product, however we will only supply either one bag per order or twenty plus due to the weight and high cost of carraige. Twenty plus will be delivered on a pallet and is the smallest economical amount for free delivery of bulk purchase. Any other size orders placed will receive an email requesting that a quantity change is made or it will sadly have to be cancelled.
