Attractive to look at but still totally practical , the Birdball offers year round protection from the elements and is a natural alternative to the bird's own vanishing habitats. Handmade in clay, it's spherical shape offers protection from intruders whilst looking good ! Birds are very territorial so position your Birdball away from feeders and other nesting areas, in a sheltered spot away from direct sunlight or prevailing winds. Also ensure they are hung at least 5 feet from ground level. The natural clay is frost resistant and they can be cleaned with hot water between October and November but avoid using any bleach or detergents.
