Grown for backgrounds or in clumps, Hollyhocks make a grand show. Best in full sun to partial shade, this variety has gorgeous purple-violet-marron coloured flowers. Supplied in 2-3 Litre containers. Position: full sun Soil: moderately-fertile, well-drained soil Rate of growth: fast-growing Flowering period: June and July Flower colour: violet-purple-maroon Other features: the flowers are highly attractive to butterflies and bees Hardiness:fully hardy Garden care:Water well during dry spells. In autumn give the plants a good trim back to 15cm (6in) from the ground. Eventual height: 2m Eventual spread: 60cm
