Activated Carbon System is a must for all freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The Activated Carbon uses professional-grade, coal-based carbon to remove colors, odors, and pollutants in aquarium water. It is phosphate free and will not affect pH. To use, add cup for every 10 US gallons of water, being sure to rinse to remove dust before use. To refill filter cartridges, follow manufacturers instructions. Filter should be replace every three to four weeks as needed.
