Edward Goucher is a graceful arching evergreen shrub with oval bright green leaves which are bronze when young and produce lilac-pink flowers from mid summer to autumn. Suited to beds, borders, containers, walls and trellises. Plant in autumn or spring in well-drained soil, in a position protected from cold winds. Best to plant against a wall or in a full bed where neighbouring shrubs provide shelter. Ultimate height 1.8m, ultimate spread 2.5m. Time to maturity: 5-10 years.
