3.5 x 50mm Loose Drywall Screws (Black) Free Phillips No.2 driver bit (25mm) in each box. Manufactured to JIS B1125 (1995) and independently tested to IFI specification ASTM C1002-89. 25Ă‚° Ă‚Super SharpĂ‚ (SS) point for ease of penetration. 60Ă‚° twin thread. Surface hardened up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing under load and a core hardness of up to 450 HV for improved ductility. Made from C10-18 Steel. Cosmetically plated in either zinc or black phosphate. Full batch-traceability to the original steel mill certificate. Sold in one-piece strengthened laminated TIMco branded boxes for market appeal and quality recognition. Designed to pierce and drill into 0.9 mm of metal channel. For larger gauge channel self-drilling drywall screws are recommended. Bar-coded to assist in sales and stock control. All Drywall fastenings should be driven straight and the heads should be set slightly below the plane of the surface. Once inserted the screw should be sealed and taped to avoid any contact with wet plaster or plaster board lime.
