This KVM switch is used to control 2 PCs with USB connections via a SVGA monitor and either PS2 or USB keyboard & mouse. . Each PC is connected to the KVM using one SVGA male to female cable and one USB type A to type B.PC selection can be made via push buttons on the switch, hotkeys on the keyboard or by use of the on screen display facility.Also contains a 3 port USB hub with current overload protection. Supports resolutions of up to 2048 x 1536.Suitable for use with optical & 4/5 button mice and with cordless / wireless keyboards and mice.The keyboard and mouse signals are emulated for error free booting and switching.No external power is required as this is supplied via the USB interface.Fully compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0 specifications.Supports Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP, Mac OS9/X, Linux ans Sun Micro OS. NB: all 3 ports of the hub will only be available for use if a PS2 keyboard and mouse are employed.
